3. Coverage of CSC Scholarships
3.1. Tuition Fees

CSC scholarship awardees are exempt from tuition fees for all semesters.

3.2. Free housing or dorms at universities

CSC scholarship awardees stay in a house and dorms of the university free of charge.

3.3. Allowance

Bachelor students get 2,500 Chinese Yuan monthly.

General scholars and master students get 3,000 Chinese yuan monthly.

Senior scholars and doctoral students get 3,500 Chinese Yuan monthly.

3.4. Health Insurance:

All CSC awardees get 800 Chinese yuan annually per individual for health insurance. While each awardee (admitted in programs shorter than six months) gets 400 Chinese yuan.

4. Eligibility for CSC Scholarships

To qualify, an applicant must be:

4.1. A citizen of a nation other than the PRC and in good bodily and mental health in order to be eligible.

4.2. Under 25 years old and possess a high school diploma or its equivalent when applying for an undergraduate program.

4.3. Under 35 years old and possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent when applying for a master’s program.

4.4. Under 40 years old and possess a Master’s degree or its equivalent when applying for a PhD program

4.5. Under 45 years old and possessing a high school diploma (or higher) when applying for a general scholar program.

4.6. have passed the HSK (Level 3) while submitting an application for a general scholar, undergraduate program taught in Chinese, or for a senior scholar program offered in China (not Chinese language majors).

4.7. have passed the HSK (Level 4) to apply for a postgraduate program taught in Chinese.

4.8. When applying for a program taught in a language other than Chinese, fulfill the academic and language requirements of the preferred university, among other things.

5. Process of ApplicationĀ  for CSC Scholarships
